Workshop
FARMER’S MARKET FOOD SAFETY WORKSHOPS

The Bureau of Environmental Health Services, Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services will conduct a workshop for producers of foods sold at farmer’s markets at four locations. The focus will be on the regulations and exemptions, approved source, food safety and sanitation, and processing of non-exempt foods. Local health agency staff are encouraged to attend these workshops. Assistance in publicizing these workshops is also requested. Locations are as follows:

TDAP Vaccination Clinics
(Tetanus-Diptheria-Pertussis)
In an effort to ensure Missourians are vaccinated against Pertussis, Cooper County Public Health Center will be hosting three TDAP immunization clinics in July.
  • July 9
  • July 16
  • July 23
All clinics will be held from 9 AM-11:30 AM and 1 PM-4:30 PM at the Cooper County Public Health Center, 17040 Klinton Drive Boonville, MO 65233

There will be a $20 administration fee but no one will be turned away based on ability to pay.

Funding for this vaccine is a special, one-time grant for mass vaccination clinics as part of emergency preparedness for Cooper County.
Who should receive TDAP?
  • Children 11 years and older
  • Adults (including women who may become pregnant and adults 65 years and older) who expect to have close contact with a baby younger than 12 months of age
  • Pregnant women after 20th week of gestation and preferably during the 3rd trimester

Cooper County Food
Handling/Safety Classes
On November 1, 2010, the Boonville City Council mandated food handling training for all food service personnel at all permanent and temporary food establishments. The CCPHC will provide classes free of charge for supervisors and classes in basic food handling safety.
