This will be the last monthly Covid 19 report issued by the health center. The CDC and State of Missouri are in the process of changing over to endemic status. Cooper County along with all other health depts will no longer have access to individual reports for case counts and investigations. We will still be required to report and investigate outbreaks of covid at private facilities like at nursing homes, schools, group homes etc. We currently provide that same support for influenza, chicken pox, food borne illness etc.

The health center will continue to offer testing on a part-time until further notice.

Please keep getting vaccinated, wearing a mask, and keeping your distance please. Handwashing is always critical.

Walk-In Covid vaccination clinics are held every Thursday from 9am to 12noon and 1:00pm to 5:00pm without an appointment. Ages 5 and up are eligible.

Make good decisions and be safe out there. Thank you!

 Sincerely,

Melanie Hutton RN, MSN Administrator
